If you do not want to receive your grant payment in your bank account or want to change the payment method to Boxer then you are at the right place.

I have changed my SASSA R350 payment method recently and I am mentioning below all the steps I followed. If you want to change it to Boxer then follow my lead.

Visit the official website of SASSA and select “Change Banking Details” from the above options.
Here you will need your ID that shows you are a South African citizen, refugee, or permanent resident.
After providing your ID, click the “Change Payment Method” option.
Now enter your ID number (South Africa’s official ID) and phone number. Ensure the phone number is the same as that you provided while registering for the grant.
You will receive an OTP code shortly on your number.
Enter that code in the specific box for verification.
Once the system verifies you, you will receive a link for the payment method.
With this link, you will change the SASSA R350 payment method.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Check the “Agree to Terms and Conditions” box to submit your changing payment method request.

This is all you have to do. After submitting we suggest waiting patiently for 14 working days. The department works on the request of the beneficiary and after the verification process, they update the payment method.

To collect your SASSA R350 grant via Boxer you should bring your ID card or Asylum documents. They will also need SMS confirmation and your cell phone number before providing you with your R350 grant.
