- Now you have to take out the print of the SASSA-generated affidavit and make sure to have it certified by the commissioner of oaths. Keep in mind that the certification stamp must not be older than 3 months.
- Now carefully upload all the necessary documents. Make sure to upload them in the PDF version and make sure to fill in the required information.
- Now apply and you will receive a confirmation SMS or email on the email or number you have provided.
This confirmation will also have a reference number in it and you can use this reference number for enquiries. Keep this reference number safe as your proof of application.
Keep in mind that applying for a SASSA grant is completely free. SASSA will never ask you to pay a fee to apply, to speed up your application, or to check your status. If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.
What Documents Do You Need?
